• Be confident handling large geospatial datasets and satellite images.
• Be familiar with or be willing to adopt Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) standards.
• Have experience using Python to process geospatial data, or be willing to learn on the job.
• Be confident problem solving to debug and troubleshoot and find the answers.
• Be prepared to dig in and work outside your comfort zone.
• At times be customer facing to help shape project requirements.
• Have a degree in Geography, GIS, relevant field or equivalent experience.
Bonus Points If You Have
• Have experience processing and analysing a variety of satellite image data types (e.g. multispectral, hyperspectral).

• Have experience with or an interest in developing the skills to deploy machine learning techniques, particularly for environmental applications such as land use classification.
• Have experience of geospatial analysis within cloud-based systems such as AWS or Google Earth Engine.
